As a Senior Analytics Engineer, you will develop scalable data solutions and empower the business to efficiently access and analyse data. Collaborating closely with Data Engineers and analysts, you will champion best practices in data usage and collection throughout the organisation.

Tech Stack: Airbyte, dbt, Looker, Snowflake

RESPONSIBILITIES

Design and implement dimensional data models in our Snowflake data warehouse that deliver reliable trusted data, meeting any privacy and SLO requirements.

Be a strategic partner for the business: identify high-impact analytical problems and find innovative solutions with data, which may include the application of predictive and statistical analytics or data visualisations in Looker.

Improve data availability, and quality and provide reliable access to trusted data for the business by leveraging your expert SQL and dbt proficiency.

Provide technical leadership in the data team. Obsessing over quality, readability and impact.

Own and document data pipelines and data lineage.

Deliver insights through ad-hoc analyses to resolve important business needs.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

5+ years of experience.

You have advanced knowledge in SQL, a scripting language (e.g. python).

Strong ability to model complex tasks, and build relational data structures.

Strong working knowledge of tools like dbt, or Dataform.

Ownership mindset, with a strong bias for action.

Use one or more analytics tools (e.g. Looker, Tableau).
