NatPower is a global group specialised in renewable energy assets development, with operations in several countries. We've launched on the UK market, aiming at becoming one of the leaders in the next 3-5 years as we successfully did in other geographies.
We are seeking to hire a Marketing Manager, to join our team and lead our marketing, communication and PR activities.
In addition to general company activities, the role will also support and assist our Project Development Teams on a portfolio of opportunities across the UK and internationally. Our projects are at early development stage, so you will be involved with activities from initial site feasibility, right through to project construction.
As we grow, we will also be expanding into new markets and there will be opportunities to contribute to this expansion. We seek to be at the leading edge in everything we do and like to stand out from the crowd. Wider NatPower Team
The role will support NatPower's marketing activities, reporting to the Director of Growth & Marketing and work closely with the Marine Business team and support its marketing and growth needs globally.
The Role
We are looking for a multi-skilled candidate with extensive experience in marketing, public relations, and communication in the Marine sector. Experience of the renewable energy sector will be preferential but more importantly we need a person able to lead the narrative of NatPower with all our communication targets that include: shipping and cruising operators, port authorities, industry associations, marine regulators, local, national and international policy makers, the luxury sector, large energy users, international OEM's, equity investors and lenders etc.
Role Accountabilities
From concept to implementation, deploy stand out successful marketing campaigns.
Develop strategies and tactics to promote NatPower Marine and drive qualified traffic to our business.
Experiment with a variety of channels, including content creation, content curation, pay-per-click campaigns, event management, advertising, social media, lead generation campaigns, copywriting, and performance analysis.
Select and coordinate the activities of marketing agencies and suppliers.
Produce engaging and valuable content for our website and blog that attracts and converts our target audience. Take ownership of our marine website content and presentation, and ensure it is always up to date, including regular new items that are also reflected across social media platforms.
Establish strategic relationships with key industry players, agencies, and vendors.
Identify and organise presence in key targets to enhance company perception in the marine sector, including selection of exhibitions, sector press advertisement/news releases, sector association memberships etc.
Measuring and reporting on the performance of direct marketing campaigns, gaining insight, and assessing their effectiveness.
Work on the email and advertising campaigns in accordance with the strategy.
Essentials:
Entrepreneurial mindset.

5 - 10 years working experience, with a good amount in the Marine sector.
Demonstrable experience with the potential and attitude to learn and teach to our colleagues.
Experience in identifying target audiences and developing marketing campaigns across channels that engage, educate, and motivate.
Solid understanding of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends, etc).
Experience setting up and optimising Google Adwords, LinkedIn and other social media campaigns.
Numerically literate, comfortable working with numbers, able to interpret metrics, and able to process large numbers using spreadsheets.
A strong sense of aesthetics, as well as an appreciation for good copy and communication.
Keeping current with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement.
A BSc/MSc degree in Marketing or a related field is required.
A strong ability to communicate and negotiate.
The ability to work independently is essential.
Ability to work collaboratively across a team.
The ability to write reports, communicate effectively, and manage projects effectively.
Desirables:
Able to multi-task and manage several business initiatives, clients, and projects alongside one another.
Master's degree.
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced development schedule.
A second language and multicultural skills.
