KYC Assistant - Portuguese speakerSalary: £28,000 - £30,000 per annumMonday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. Euro London Appointments is supporting the recruitment of a well-established Bank as their team grows! This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to grow their career in compliance and financial services. The role: To assist with the onboarding and periodic review of clients, ensuring compliance with UK legal requirements and maintaining high-quality customer data. Main Responsibilities: Analyse client documentation and conduct KYC checks for sanctions and adverse media.Maintain client files and update information in internal systems (Flexcube and SISBB).Manage the periodic review schedule and coordinate with the Sales team on documentation refreshes. Review the relationship chain of Directors and Shareholders.Prepare summaries of key KYC information for risk assessments and initiate extraordinary reviews as needed. After the completion of the probation period, a hybrid work arrangement of a minimum of three days in the office per week is required, from 9 AM to 5 PM. Requirements: Fluent written and spoken English and PortugueseGood knowledge in Excel (intermediate level)Graduate in Finance or Banking is a plus!
