A leader within the market, Condé Nast India produces the premium titles Vogue, GQ, Condé Nast Traveler, and Architectural Digest (AD).The Fashion Features Editor is responsible for producing, commissioning and editing fashion news and features for Vogue's print edition and all digital platforms. Reporting into the Head of Editorial Content, you'll oversee stories from the team as well as external contributors. This is a key role at Vogue, helping to shape the tone and voice of the brand, and, as such, you'll be one of the most experienced writers and editors on the team and one of the most connected journalists in the industry.Key Responsibilities:Working with the Head of Editorial Content and other editorial leaders to generate, commission and edit fashion news and feature ideas for all of Vogue's platforms.Writing fashion features and news for Vogue's print and digital platforms, from daily news hits to larger features and exclusives.Collaborating with international colleagues in Vogue's global network to identify story opportunities from across the globe, and to contribute stories to the rest of the network.Representing Vogue within the industry, from attending retail activations, fashion forums and - where commissioned - regional fashion shows.Contributing to the social, digital and video strategy, whether ideating on projects, helping to propose or secure talent (in conjunction with Condé Nast's Talent Group).Understanding and building commercial relationships, working with the revenue teams on special projects whenever necessary.Regularly meeting with brands and local PRs and feeding back to the team to build relationships, secure editorial exclusives and ensure that Vogue remains at the forefront of the fashion conversation.Staying abreast of any and all industry developments and news to ensure that our coverage of fashion across print and digital is both informed and unique.Ideate and participate in creating social media and video contentSkills & Requirements:9+ years of experience at a digital or print publisher, in a senior fashion editorial role, writing copy and commissioning and editing colleagues.A flair for storytelling and a proven track record of identifying trends and topics to cover - and the best way in which to write and engage with our audience.Experience with SEO, and using and acting on data collected from key analytics tools.Experience of commerce content is an advantage.Strong understanding of the local market, with a solid network of regional and international contacts.Good interpersonal communications skills and the ability to work effectively with colleagues across myriad departments and differing levels of seniority.Thorough Knowledge of the Vogue brand.A comprehensive contacts book, encompassing everything from PRs to blockbuster contributors.Experience of working closely with business teams to identify and collaborate on revenue-generating projects, whether commercial or consumer.
