Business Development & Merchandising Representative - Munster My FMCG client is a well-recognised and reputable brand, stocked in leading retailers nationwide. They are recruiting a Merchandiser & Business Developer to manage and nurture existing account across Munster but mainly Cork and Limerick. This is a 50:50 mix where you will not only merchandise and capture orders, but you will also be expected to hit your sales KPI's by gaining more space and by increasing volume and range of product on the shelves. I am looking for a candidate who is super sales focused as this is as important as the merchandising. Though someone with similar experience of selling into retail would be ideal, I welcome a solid retail candidate looking to move off the shop floor and get out on the road. It is very important this person comes with energy, drive and lots of personality, a likeable individual who is KPI driven and can influence their customers. Salary & Benefits: Salary up to €40k (may be negotiable depending on level of experience), Bonus, 25 days holidays, Vehicle, Pension Contribution, Discounted Health Insurance, Daily Lunch Allowance. Key Responsibilities for the job of Sales & Merchandising Representative: Follow a store call file and journey plan, maintaining good relationships with your stores Achieve your KPI's such as volume, promotional execution, and product distribution Introduce new products and implement promotions Utilise certain seasonal trends to improve product placement and sales Negotiating extra displays for upcoming promotions Have excellent product knowledge and know your competitors Provide accurate pricing keeping in line with your margin target Look for opportunities to up sell and cross sell Follow up on leads for new business Update the CRM Should you be interested in this job opportunity please apply.
