IT Support Technician Permanent Role Dublin 1 Salary:EUR40K + car allowance The Role: You will be joining a team of IT engineers based across multiple offices providing remote and telephone support for SMB and Enterprise customers. Your role will be to provide technical advice and practical assistance to our clients and end users. Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills with an ability to isolate problems to specific parts of a system and diagnose under tight time constraints. Good all-round knowledge including resolving issues with PCs, networks and networked devices (scanners, switches etc) Performing System administration and maintenance To take ownership of user problems and be proactive when dealing with user issues Creating and updating technical documentation including work instructions, standard operating procedures/manuals. Qualifications and experience: Experience in IT support. Proficiency in Microsoft Cloud technologies such as Office 365, SharePoint, Intune and Azure. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office applications Experience with Core Microsoft Products including Active Directory, 365 Exchange, and SharePoint Experience with networking technologies, including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP Experience with Fortinet Firewalls and Ubiquity networking products would be beneficial but not essential for the candidate. Familiarity with Veeam, Hyper V/ VMware Full EU/Irish Drivers license Ability to take on other responsibilities as the role develops.
