CAREERINFORMATIONDescription:Summary:The IT Support I positionis the first point of contact for end users for all technologyrelated support tickets. The employee must view end users ascustomers and provide a superior level of service to everyone,regardless of the issue at hand. The employee must be flexible andwilling to work odd hours whennecessary.Duties andResponsibilities:Order, configure, anddeliver new desktops, laptops, tablets, and phones to companyusersSupport company users with allbasic technology problemsPerformclient and server software updates and patches asnecessaryPerform hardware updatesas necessaryMaintain records of allhardware, warranties, licenses, andconfigurationsKeep printers inregular working orderAssist inregular data backupAssist in activedirectory maintenanceAssist inserver maintenance and administration in a virtualenvironmentAssist with low leveladministration of various company enterprise software anddatabasesAssist in system upgradesduring non-business hoursMaintainphone system along with third partyvendorAct as technology point ofcontact in disaster recovery or company mobilizationsituationsKeep working knowledge ofnew technologies and securitythreatsBe familiar with Company HSEpolicies and proceduresShareknowledge & best practice across thecompanyAll other duties asassignedQualifications:Associate sdegree or equivalent work experience with 1 year experiencespecifically in IT support roleAtleast one year of customer serviceexperiencePreferredexperience in a Microsoft based environment with proficiency in thefollowing technologies:Windows 11, MS 365application suiteWindows Server2019 with Active Directory and Group PolicymanagementWindowsPowershellVMware virtualenvironmentSQL Server2019Nimble SAN storagetechnologiesNetworkmanagement INT
