As a Consultant/Senior Consultant in our Team you'll build and nurture positive working relationships with teams and clients with the intention to exceed client expectations:Collaborate with clients to design and strategize FTTH network deployment plans, ensuring the efficient and reliable delivery of high-speed internet services to residential areas.Provide expertise in design and deployment of IP-MPLS based active infrastructure for a large-scale telecom project.Lead the design and planning of complex LAN (Local Area Network), MAN (Metropolitan Area Network), and WAN (Wide Area Network) infrastructure.Perform comprehensive site surveys and feasibility studies to identify optimal locations/ sites/ route for the meticulous deployment of active and passive infrastructure.Provide expertise in network design principles, ensuring scalability, redundancy, and resilience in active network including router, switches, firewall, etc.Profound understanding of LAN, MAN, and WAN networks, including protocols, routing, switching, and security.Develop detailed network architecture blueprints and schematics, incorporating the latest technologies and best practices.Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of FTTH technologies, encompassing advanced optical transmission systems, passive optical networks (PON), and cutting-edge fiber infrastructure.Proven expertise in the planning, design and implementation of fiber optic networks, including hands-on experience with FTTH technologies.Utilize advanced analytical and problem-solving skills to address intricate network anomalies, leveraging deep technical knowledge.Stay up to date with the latest networking technologies, trends, and emerging standards, ensuring that client solutions are technologically advanced and future-proof.Communicate and collaborate effectively with client teams, third-party vendors, and regulatory authorities, fostering productive and harmonious partnerships.Develop and maintain meticulous documentation of network configurations, diagrams, and records, supporting client decision-making and compliance requirements.Understanding of the business considerations related to the deployment and operation of fiber optic networks, with an ability to contribute to business case development and ROI analysis.Familiarity with the latest fiber optic technology and trends, as well as an understanding of active and passive network architecture and the various types of fiber optic cables and connectors.Strong project management skills, with the capability to oversee projects from conception through to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.Experience in working with contractors and suppliers, negotiating contracts, and managing service level agreements.Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements related to fiber optic cable installation and operations.Strong problem-solving skills, with a focus on providing innovative solutions to design and operational challenges.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.Experience in leading and developing teams, with a focus on operational excellence and continuous improvement. Desired qualificationsA bachelor's degree in engineering is mandatory, preferably in a field such as Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunications, or a related discipline.An MBA or equivalent postgraduate degree is highly desirable, with a focus on technology management or business administration.4-8 years of experience in network operations within a telecommunications environment.Prior experience working with major telecommunications players.Relevant industry certifications in fiber optics/ router/ switches/ FTTH are required to demonstrate technical proficiency and a commitment to maintaining industry-standard qualifications. Location and way of working.Base location: Bangalore/Delhi/MumbaiThis profile involves frequent / occasional travelling to client locations.Hybrid is our default way of working.
