Job Description:Roll Title: Climate Change SpecialistLocation: Dehradun UttarakhandWe are in search of a skilled Environment Expert to join our team. As an environmental expert, you will play a crucial role in the development of master plans that comply with all necessary environmental sensitivities, regulations, acts, and procedures.Responsibilities:Develop master plans for port projects that adhere to environmental sensitivities, regulations, acts, and procedures.Conduct environmental assessments and impact studies to identify potential risks and mitigation measures.Ensure compliance with local, national, and international environmental regulations and standards.Collaborate with stakeholders, including environmental agencies, local communities, and project teams, to address environmental concerns and incorporate feedback into project plans.Provide guidance and support to project teams on environmental best practices and sustainability initiatives.Prepare environmental management plans and monitoring programs to track and mitigate the impact of port projects on the environment.Coordinate with regulatory bodies to obtain necessary environmental clearances and permits for port development, modernization, and upgradation projects.Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with environmental requirements and identify areas for improvement.Review and evaluate environmental impact assessments submitted by consultants and contractors.Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation to communicate environmental findings, recommendations, and compliance status to stakeholders and senior management.Qualifications:1. Post-Graduation in Environmental Science or Environmental Engineering.2. Ph.D. or M.Phil. Candidates are preferable.3. Minimum of 10 years of experience in obtaining environmental clearance for development, modernization, or upgradation of port projects.4. Strong knowledge of environmental laws, regulations, and procedures related to port development.5. Experience conducting environmental impact assessments and implementing mitigation measures.6. Familiarity with environmental monitoring techniques and data analysis.Employment Type: Full Time PRB
