This senior position requires extensive experience in investment banking, strong industry connections, and exceptional financial acumen.Key ResponsibilitiesClient Relationship ManagementDevelop and Maintain Client Relationships: Establish and nurture long-term relationships with key clients, including corporations, private equity firms, and institutional investors.Advisory Services: Provide strategic financial advice to clients on mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, restructurings, capital raising, and other investment banking services.Client Engagement: Lead client meetings, presentations, and negotiations to secure mandates and ensure successful transaction outcomes.Business DevelopmentMarket Expansion: Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the firm's client base and market presence.Industry Insights: Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes to provide informed advice and develop new business strategies.Networking: Leverage industry connections and participate in conferences, seminars, and professional associations to enhance the firm's reputation and business prospects.Transaction ManagementDeal Origination and Execution: Oversee the origination, structuring, and execution of complex financial transactions, ensuring alignment with client objectives and regulatory requirements.Due Diligence: Lead due diligence processes, including financial analysis, risk assessment, and valuation.Documentation and Compliance: Ensure all transaction documentation is accurate, compliant, and completed in a timely manner.Team Leadership and DevelopmentMentorship: Mentor and develop junior bankers and analysts, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.Performance Management: Set performance expectations, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance reviews for team members.Recruitment: Participate in the recruitment and onboarding of new talent to strengthen the team's capabilities.Strategic PlanningFirm Strategy: Contribute to the development and implementation of the firm's strategic initiatives and business plans.Innovation: Promote innovative solutions and approaches to enhance the firm's competitive edge and service offerings.Financial Oversight: Monitor the financial performance of deals and ensure they meet the firm's profitability and risk management standards.QualificationsEducation and CertificationsChartered Accountant, CFA or Masters' Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
