Position Overview:We are seeking a driven and experienced Senior Executive to join our Procurement & Category Management team, with a strong emphasis on optimizing our gifting procurement processes. In this key role, you will play a pivotal role in driving cost savings and efficiencies specifically for our B2B gifting needs. You will be responsible for managing the entire gifting category, from strategic sourcing and supplier negotiations to ensuring on-time delivery of high-quality gifting products and servicesResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement strategic sourcing plans for a designated category of products/servicesManage the entire procurement lifecycle, from requisition to contract managementOwn sales and Margin target for the Gifting Category.Conduct market research to identify and qualify potential suppliersNegotiate and finalize contracts with suppliers, ensuring best value for WorkStore Ltd (focusing on our PAN India vendor network).Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities throughout the procurement processStay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in procurementOversee the onboarding and training of new suppliers (if applicable)Manage quotations, sampling processes, and sales inquiries, leading to successful deal closure.Develop and maintain SKU and vendor coding systems for efficient product and supplier identification.Analyse and determine pricing strategies for assigned product categories.Closely monitor delivery turnaround times (TAT) to ensure on-time fulfilment.Raise purchase orders (POs) for approved purchases.Manage both drop shipment and normal billing processes for distribution across our network.Build and maintain positive client relationships to ensure business continuity and satisfaction. QualificationsMinimum 2 years of experience in procurement and category management, preferably in a B2B environmentStrong negotiation skills with the ability to secure favourable terms with suppliersProficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Experience with procurement software (e.g., SAP Ariba) a plusCompany Website: https://www.workstore.in/Interested candidates can directly share their updated resume on shraddha.lad@workstore.in PRB
