Analyst - US Mortgage Loan Portfolio Control and Accounting FinacPlus provides virtual business process services to various types of overseas clients and this position is to be part of the team which provides Loan Portfolio Control and Accounting support to a Real Estate Lender from the US Mortgage Finance industry.RESPONSIBILITIES Working on Mortgage Loan Portfolio Control Reports and Accounting support.Running various portfolio analytics on accuracy and completenessReconciliation of remittance and other reports for completeness and accuracyPerforming various system to source reconciliationsProblem solving inconsistent data between systems and cash and other transaction activity.Creating custom reports to monitor transaction activities. Creating tracking logs for breaks in system / reporting / reconciliation and liaising with internal and external contacts to resolveTracking performance metrics on 3rd party service providers for SLAs (predominantly mortgage loan servicers) and monitoring / managing performanceIdentifying risks of error and implementing new controls and processes to mitigate risks of error.Track record of building new processes and procedures related to reporting and reconciliation.Ability to lead a new project, develop a project plan and blueprint, and build a team and process from the ground-up to meet the overall project objectives. Strong written and verbal communication skills, specifically in terms of issues management and project managementQUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE3-5 years of experience in experience in US Mortgage Loan Servicing, Loan accounting, Treasury and Bank Reconciliation areasExcel Skills like Pivot Tables, vlookups, hlookups, macros, etc.,oral and written communication skills, including presentations to senior management.degree in finance or accounting or CMA or CA or similar qualification.estate, mortgage banking, or asset management industry experience preferred.Packages like Quick Books and NetSuite experience preferred.SKILLS • Strong Finance and Accounting skills, application of financial policies of the company. • Compliance with US Legal Regulatory Requirements related to client's mortgage business • Customer accounts reconciliation and Reporting, Implementation of strong Accounting Controls • Advanced Excel customization skills, Report envisaging and presentation skills LOCATION: Hi-Tech City, Hyderabad,TIMINGS: IST 3:30pm to 12:30amSALARY RANGE: Best in Industry SEND APPLICATION TO: resume@finacplus.com PRB
