What you will be doing:Directly involved in the order taking and order placing process while dealing with guest requests and orders, courteously, efficiently and promptlyTo answer phone within 3 rings and follow phone etiquette according to Sofitel standardsKnow all menus and on going promotions in the outlet by heart and gives recommendations to guests upon requestTrains the IRD teamTo provide high standard of quality and follow-up to ensure proper delivery time on time as well as speedy serviceTo ensure that all operating standards are well understood in order to achieve the level of service established in the Departmental Operations ManualTo ensure that the room service area is kept clean and organized at all timesAttend regular training session in line with the departmental SOP's i.e. guest care, product knowledge, grooming standards, telephone manners etcPerform tasks as per instructions from the immediate supervisor and as per duty scheduleQualificationsYour experience and skills include:You've completed a hotel & catering course, and have gained a minimum of 2 years of hospitality experienceAbility to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all timesStrong interpersonal and problem solving abilitiesAbility to work well under pressure in a fast paced environmentAbility to work cohesively and collaboratively as part of a teamAdditional InformationYour Team & Working Enviroment:
