Responsibilities:
Develop and execute the Group HSE strategy and plan, to include but not limited to Fire, Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness, Food Hygiene, Occupational Health and Safety and Environment and construction.
Keep abreast of local and international best practice HSE initiatives as well as the latest local + federal government regulations.
Design and develop the HSE strategy, frameworks and methodologies that is aligned to the legislative and internal compliance standards.
Design the HSE policies and procedures to enable compliance and execution of the strategy and plan.
Develop and maintain process maps that enable the development of group wide HSE policies and procedures.
Requirements:
Minimum of 15 - 20 years of experience in HSE, 5years as HOD
Bachelor's degree, preferably in relation to the health and safety field, e.g., Environmental Sciences; Natural Science; Health, Safety and Environmental Management, etc.
Master's Degree or equivalent Health & Safety qualification (e.g. NEBOSH) required
