We are looking for a dynamic and results-focused Security Technical Architect for our Calgary branch who will utilize strong business and technical consulting skills to plan and drive the adoption of technologies that solve Security challenges while creating the desired outcomes!A Day in the Life:Design, architect, and implement industry-leading cloud technical solutions by understanding client requirements through your savvy consulting skills, both business and technicalProvide detailed documentation including conceptual design, logical design, physical design, bill of materials, as-built diagrams, knowledge transfer materials, FAQs, transition to operations informationAs a subject matter expert, you will deliver projects from initiation through to successful implementationWhat You Bring:10+ years of professional security industry experience across a wide range of technologies including systems, network, server, and cloud offerings5+ years in industry working as a subject matter expert in Microsoft 365Technical strength and capability of implementing all Microsoft security components (Microsoft Sentinel and the Microsoft Defender suite, etc.)Experience in implementing Information Protection in large regulated enterprisesExperience with the design and implementation of security controls such as endpoint protection, firewalls, and hardening on servers.Experience aligning to NIST, CSA, ISO/IEC, OWASP best practicesExperience working in a hands-on capacity with clients in the delivery of solutionsBroad knowledge of multiple hardware and software technologies and strong experience in working with complex solutionsAbility to effectively communicate with stakeholders and peers clearly and concisely in written, oral, and various presentation formats and situationsWhat Makes You Extra Awesome:Any one or more of the following Certifications:· CEH: Certified Ethical Hacker· CISM: Certified Information Security Manager· CompTIA Security+· CISSP: Certified Information Systems Security Professional· CISSP-ISSAP: Information Systems Security Architecture Professional· GSEC: SANS GIAC Security EssentialsWhy Work at Long View:Great people and cultureInteresting work- Be part of exciting projects while accessing all the latest technologiesFlexible environment- A workplace that values the importance of flexibility for personal/professional growth, happiness, and wellnessWant to learn more about our culture and life at Long View?
