Description Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Product Director to lead the team that will be defining and building world-class merchandising, product selection, eCommerce and Self-Serve capabilities on the web. Your team will define best-in-class experiences for our customers and create digital products that enable customers to seamlessly find, select, configure, buy and manage products and services that meet their needs. You will partner closely with product and sales leaders alike to ensure capabilities are delivered effectively, meet business and customer requirements, and are built for reuse across all product categories and lines of business, including both Consumer and Business segments. Reporting to the VP of Product for Connectivity, Digital and Marketing Communications, you will play a pivotal role in defining the product strategy, driving innovation, and ensuring the delivery of a best-in-class digital sales and service experiences that unlock remarkable business, customer experience and technology outcomes. Key Responsibilities: Product Strategy: Formulate and execute a comprehensive agile product roadmap that aligns with the company's strategic goals and market trends and is informed by experimentation, feedback loops and purposeful adjustments as necessary Clearly articulate strategy, priorities and context to the team and clear runway to ensure smooth delivery and execution Support the development of holistic product roadmaps to drive improved customer experience, website sales conversion, increased customer self-serve, product health and cost efficiencies Identify, manage, trade-off and prioritize capital investments through development of business cases and interlock with the Sales and Product leaders you collaborate with Partner closely with your Product Director peer on the MyTELUS App to ensure the experiences that are designed and built work equally well on the App as on the Web Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, marketing, and sales to prioritize features, define requirements, and establish the product roadmap and associated build and Go-To-Market timelines Enable customers to buy and manage any product or service through My TELUS web, including all high-value self-serve activities Digital Storefront Optimization: Partner with Digital Sales teams on a daily basis to optimize our digital storefront to drive improvements to the sales funnel across all products and business lines including the execution of product merchandising adjustments, A/B tests, personalization and targeting/retargeting executions to deliver against weekly sales targets Market & Product Analysis: Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and customer feedback analysis to identify emerging trends, user needs, and areas for improvement Customer and User Experience: Champion the customer experience by ensuring intuitive navigation, seamless functionality, and high performance across all product lines and lines of business Performance Monitoring: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track digital product performance including but not limited to sales conversion and funnel performance, user engagement, and customer satisfaction, leveraging data-driven insights to inform decision-making and future roadmap evolution Stakeholder Communication: Communicate product vision, progress updates, and strategic initiatives to internal stakeholders, external partners, and executive leadership Team Leadership: Inspire and mentor a talented and engaged team of product managers and designers fostering a culture of business ownership mentality, creativity, and customer-first excellence Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, privacy standards, and industry best practices related to telecommunications and mobile applications Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred) Proven track record of 5+ years of product management experience, preferably in the telecommunications or mobile technology industry Deep understanding of mobile applications, telco services, and smartphone ecosystems Experience with tools and technologies used for website management (i.e. CMS, eCommerce platforms, etc.) Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, extract insights, and make data-driven decisions Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously Passion for innovation, technology, and delivering exceptional user experiences Why Join Us: Joining TELUS means being part of a forward-thinking team that is shaping the future of telecommunications. Salary Range: $128,000-$192,000 Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan: 30% Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance and experience.
