  • Assist in drafting and reviewing regulations, systems, guidelines, and decisions related to the institution's various operations and activities.
  • Draft, prepare, and review all contracts, agreements, memoranda of understanding, documents, and other legal documents intended to be executed or signed by the institution.
  • Provide legal opinion and advice in negotiations and discussions conducted by the institution with member states and external parties to ensure the preservation of its interests and compliance with its requirements.
  • Offer legal opinions and advice on all legal matters related to the institution's operations, activities, and endeavors.
  • Participate in evaluating proposed projects for funding, along with their associated guarantee arrangements, and study their legal aspects.
  • Represent the institution before competent courts, arbitration bodies, regulatory and supervisory authorities, and prepare letters of engagement for law firms and legal advisors engaged by the institution for representation or to provide necessary legal support for its activities and operations when required.
  • Perform other assigned tasks.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in law from a reputable university.
  • 10+ years of diverse legal experience spanning banking, finance, corporate governance, compliance, litigation, AML/CTF, data privacy, and international transactions, ideally in financial institutions.
  • Proficiency in Arabic and English. French is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Ms. Office applications.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
