The Jr. Golf Instructor is responsible for providing support in order to ensure that high levels of service, diplomacy & communication skills are provided in an effective & efficient manner. Promote First Tee - Corinthia Golf Club mission by modeling the First Tee Nine Core Values and adherence to the First Tee Code of Conduct. Be active in the First Tee Coach Program. Assist in program set up, delivery and breakdown. Be charismatic, personable, and motivational in working with kids and teens of all backgrounds. Instruct off-season and supplemental programs, as needed. Encourage and assist qualified youth to participate in golf tournaments, Headquarters opportunities and local chapter events. Make the game fun for youth participants. Appreciate and care for program participants, provide encouragement and motivation to help youth maximize performance. Provide instruction for clinics, workshops, and programs with schools and other youth serving organizations. Ascend through First Tee coaching levels. Assist with member competitions. Assist with growing the clubs members. Hold individual lessons when needed. Teaching the basic fundamental skills of golf, rules, etiquette, and playing procedures with youth. Ability to understand and carry out oral and written directions. Ability to command respect and discipline. Ability to be courteous yet firm in dealing with the public. Be alert. Energetic. Organized, able to work in a busy environment where the priorities are changing. Always maintain a clean and neat appearance while on duty and adhere to the dress code. To provide overall supervision of operational activities at Corinthia Golf Club. Provides clear communication between all operational teams from inside to outside service. Skills 3 years overall experience out of which 1+ years of experience as an Assistant Professional, preferably in a high-service, high volume facility. PGA Class A membership, or an Associate working towards membership. Basic understanding of booking engines. Experience developing a junior golf program
