Income Auditor

Financial • Understand thoroughly Hyatt International objectives in Income Audit as to provide an effective auditing system for all hotel revenues and receipts; provide a summary of the revenues required by the Accounting and Control Division to prepare daily and monthly reports; provide Heads of Department with the revenue figures necessary for them to operate their individual profit center profitable; and provide a system of monitoring the data input by operation level personnel • Ascertain that all daily revenues that should have been received by the hotel have been received and properly recorded. In doing so, the work of Night Audit, Front Desk, and the Food and Beverage Cashiers is being audited • Audit charges to City Ledger and credit card companies before forwarding them to the Accounts Receivable sections • Audit daily Rooms and Food and Beverage revenue summaries and their supporting transaction reports of the Night Audit Process • Audit revenue from telephone, telex, and facsimile unless these are automatically linked to the computer for billing • Audit revenue from other Operated Departments such as Garage, Pro shops, Laundry and Business Center for completeness • Ensure that all the day's Banquet revenue has been recorded • Check the daily General Cashier's report against recorded cash movement • Monitor cashier shortages/overages; and investigate any substantial amount and bring to the attention of the Director of Finance's office. • Verify that the computerized Daily Report reflects completely all of the day's transactions • Review paid-outs and allowance vouchers for reasonableness, proper approval, and supporting documentation Company information Registration No. 953091-V Report this job advert Be careful This job ad has not been subjected to our hirer verification process.
