About the Role We have a unique opportunity for a high performing NZ Retail Sales Manager to play a critical strategic leadership role within Selleys NZ. Reporting directly to the GM Selleys Retail, your core role will be to profitably grow sales through strong retailer partnerships and sales representation. Core elements of the role are to provide leadership, strategic direction, continuous improvement and ongoing coaching to the team across senior level customer management and alignment, national accounts and in field execution through a team of 8 Territory Sales Managers. The Country Manager is a key member of the Selleys Commercial Leadership Team and the cross business DuluxGroup New Zealand Leadership Team and is responsible for developing and promoting a high-performance team. Skills and Experience A strong and collaborative leader, you will provide influential leadership to both direct and indirect reports and extend a culture of inclusion, ownership, success, and excellence. You will also have extensive experience leading a team at a national level. Sales and Category Strategy expertise within hardware / FMCG organizations will be highly advantageous but not necessary. We are looking for someone with a commercial growth mindset and results orientation, with your ear to the ground, you will maintain ongoing and effective relationships with key customers, industry groups and associations. You will be confident partnering with internal and external stakeholders in order to develop and deliver new strategies, ideas and processes. Why DuluxGroup?
