CARE BUSINESS SCHOOL DEAN - JOB DESCRIPTION CARE Business School was started in 2009 with the objective of offering quality management education with world class infrastructure. The b-school aims to foster creative thinking and encourages Innovation. It is affiliated to Anna University and offers an AICTE approved MBA program. The institution has recently secured autonomous status. The Dean for the School of Business, reporting to CARE CEO, will provide academic leadership, vision and financial management. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:  Providing strategic vision to capitalize on and increase the strengths of the school to create new opportunities.  Take steps to building academic stature to attract the right kind of students, faculty and recruiters.  Managing the academic functions of the school, overseeing all programs and assuring their quality and relevance to students and industry.  Attracting good recruiters through designing and implementing rigorous placement efforts.  Link to overall objectives as well, to help achieve, ideally own fiscal objectives in admissions and expense control. In order to accomplish these, the Dean will need to provide visionary leadership and work diligently to hire, motivate lead and retain a vibrant faculty team. He will have to create a professional work environment that provides an exciting overall student experience on campus. Qualifications Required: ● MBA in Business Management or related field. ● Ten years professional experience in reputed b-schools. ● Three years experience in senior leadership roles. ● Passionate to reshaping education and mold next generation leaders. Preferred: ● Doctoral Degree (Ph.D./DBA) in Management. ● Experience in developing cooperative programs between corporates and universities. ● B-school work experience.
