About the job
Build a database of suppliers ensuring existing portfolio is updated and new list suppliers are added
Evaluate new suppliers through site visits and historic scope of works
Vendor registration of verified suppliers through management approval and internal system
Collaborate with the production team to understand the scope of work, followed by selecting right suppliers to execute this work
Compare and evaluate offers from suppliers
Negotiate contract terms of agreement and pricing in line with company policy
Raise purchase order requests on our internal systems
Prepare budgets, cost analyses, and reports
Review, compare, analyze, and approve products and services, ensuring expectation vs deliverables are met
Post event, oversee product planning and storage by the warehouse team
Internal collaboration with teams such as operations, projects, production to ensure their expectations are managed and delivered
Requirements
Push back and trade off required with the suppliers, hence, strong negotiation skills is key
Strong stakeholder management to be able to manage communication with leadership team
Attention to detail and comfortable with number as this role involves working with high multiple requests/data/finances and invoices
Experience in Joinery/Fitout industry
