Description:
To assist with the implementation and maintenance of a functional Infection Prevention and Control programme at hospital level
Job Responsibilities:
a-Provide leadership and management guidance on infection prevention and control matters for the allocated business units
b-Provide leadership and guidance to the nursing team
c-Ensure risks are identified and evidenced based practice is recommended and followed as per legislative, regulatory and clinical standards to ensure continuous quality improvement and to mitigate risks
d-Manage allocated clinical and non-clinical resources in a cost effective and efficient manner to enhance safe and quality patient care
Job Requirements:
a-Nursing qualification (degree or diploma)
b-2-3 Years' experience working in a hospital environment as a professional healthcare practitioner
c-Experience as an infection control practitioner / infection control nurse in a hospital
