Responsible to ensure that all yard operations, resources, customer requirements and subcontractors are managed in the most effective manner. Main Responsibilities: • Working with Material Controllers controlling Customer Inventory held in storage using the appropriate systems. • Ensure yard utilization is optimized i.e. proactive allocation of locations for new Pups & Tubular deliveries etc. • Report on KPIs as advised and agreed with management team. • Operate the yards in line with agreed & customer operating procedures. • Oversee and monitor subcontractors such as forklifts, crane and consumable suppliers etc. • Manage and oversee yard operations. • Is responsible for Health and Safety within all yard areas. • To manage the Yard and has overall responsibility for all yard staff and personnel issues. • Optimize labour and third-party usage within the yard operations. • Develop and deliver the yard quality plan. • Manage training and skills matrix of yard operation teams & ensure that all certificates are validated/renewed. • Assumes P&L cost responsibility for yard functions. • Support Operations Manager where required. HSE Responsibilities: • Assist in the review of Risk Assessments and Safe Working Procedures. • Ensure implementation of company policies & procedures with regard to Quality, Health, Safety & Environment. • Ensure staff and contractors are aware of the SHEQ procedures of the Yard / Plant / Maintenance. • To report any incidents or non-conformances immediately to the SHEQ Systems Manager. •• To comply with all rules and regulations. • To complete annual appraisals for all Yard staff. Skills Essential Skills / Qualifications: • Prior experience working in a Supervisory role. • OCTG experience is essential. • Proficiency in English, Arabic (shall be an advantage). • In-depth knowledge of IT packages i.e. Microsoft office etc. • Strong organizational skills • Excellent communication skills • Strong problem-solving skills, solution orientated • Driven to achieve results, get things done • Ability to work as part of a team • Knowledge of safety, quality, and cost objectives • Commitment to providing the highest level of support and quality • Ability to demonstrate exceptional planning skills. #J-18808-Ljbffr
