Job Description:We are seeking a Senior Java Developer to join our dedicated team in enhancing and running our Java applications. This role demands a proactive approach to the entire software development lifecycle, from gathering requirements to designing, testing, and deploying solutions. You will play a key role in integrating new authentication methods and maintaining high standards of security and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, test, and maintain robust services capable of handling high loads with quick response times and flawless execution.
Create new Java APIs to adapt to changing landscapes.
Design and implement systems to monitor and ensure high data quality. Engage in continuous refactoring of applications to improve functionality and efficiency.
Develop on Microsoft Azure platforms using App Services and Kubernetes (AKS).
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
Degree in Computer Science, Information Science, or a related IT field.
At least 10 years of experience in Java EE Development, proficient in Java 8 or higher.
Minimum 8 years of experience with Spring Framework (Spring4+), including Spring MVC, Spring Boot, and JPA/EclipseLink.
Expertise in Java17, Azure App Service, and CI/CD practices.
Proficient in automated testing frameworks like SpringBoot/RestAssured and writing functional tests.
Familiarity with CI and CD tools such as Jenkins, Ansible, Jmeter, or similar.
Strong skills in (J)Unit testing and use of mocking frameworks like Mockito.
Experience with enterprise-level databases, preferably SQL.
Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to coach and inspire team members.
Proactive in identifying potential issues and initiating corrective actions.
Flexible, with a commitment to delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.
Experience in Scrum/Agile methodologies.

€ 5.400,00 - € 6.250,00 gross per month (depending on experience).
Holiday payment (8,33% on your gross annual income).
