Period!Respecting differences ethically, morally, and legally.The Volunteer Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will be responsible for overseeing the financial management of the non-profit organization. The CFO will work closely with the executive team to develop and implement financial strategies that align with the organization's goals and objectives. The CFO will also be responsible for ensuring that the organization is in compliance with all financial regulations and laws. Responsibilities Develop and implement financial strategies that align with the organization's goals and objectives.Oversee the financial management of the organization, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.Ensure that the organization is in compliance with all financial regulations and laws.Work closely with the executive team to provide financial guidance and support.Manage the organization's financial risk and ensure that the organization's assets are protected.Develop and maintain relationships with financial institutions, auditors, and other financial professionals. Qualifications (Ideally) Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field or qualifications as a bookkeeper.Knowledge of financial regulations and laws.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.The Board meets starting in January every other month for around 45 minutes - 1 hour. Committee time might currently meet that but could increase.
