Parsons is seeking a candidate with a desire to enhance the fabric of our community.EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONSThe Civil Inspector under general supervision, performs moderately complex quality control inspection activities on assigned Civil engineering project to ensure that products or services provided are in accordance with customer and Parsons requirements.Performs inspections/surveillances based on training received.Implements inspection, examination, and testing procedures and records inspection, examination, and testing data.Evaluates the validity and acceptability of inspection, examination and testing results and reports inspection, examination and testing results.Performs and documents inspections of subcontractor work.Oversees subcontractor inspections and review of subcontractor work. Reviews and audits subcontractor generated quality records.Ensures compliance to HSE requirements applicable for their work scope.Documents and communicates inspection results in a clear and concise manner.Understands contract requirements and subcontractor(s) contract requirements.Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's Degree and/ or Diploma in Engineering from a recognized institute to the approval of the Engineer.Minimum 10 years of demonstrable experience of supervision of civil construction projects of which not less than 5 years shall be in works related to similar surface & ground water networks projects.Experience should also include construction related to deep excavations, structural and water retaining concrete, temporary works, dewatering, pavement road works, utilities diversion/ interface etc.Particular emphasis on Micro tunneling works, procedures, machinery setup, monitoring micro tunnel site activities.For Civil Inspector directed to Micro Tunnel supervising position is a must to have Micro Tunnel Experience of not less than 5 years on site experience.Requires the ability to communicate clearly and interface effectively with a diverse group of professionals.Very good analytical skills and the ability to communicate orally and in writingProficient in data collection, analysis and presentation.Very good computer skills with working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Access.
