Job Overview:

The Maintenance Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing preventive maintenance schedules for building and facilities maintenance. They will coordinate with the Head of Maintenance and supervise corrective maintenance activities. Additionally, the Maintenance Manager will prepare reports, monitor performance, and ensure safety and security guidelines are followed.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Develop preventive maintenance schedule for building and facilities related maintenance and present the plan to the Head of Maintenance.

Supervise and ensure timely resolution of corrective maintenance.

Prepare the monthly work orders report.

Monitor the performance of the supervisors, technicians, etc. and take corrective action to increase the efficiency of the workers and quality of workmanship.

Maintain detailed project files, such as as-built drawings.

Prepare reports on maintenance work and progress, backlog, service levels.

Ensure adherence to safety and security guidelines and prepare reports for any security and/or safety incidents.

Ensure punctuality of the supplied manpower.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Maintenance Manager or similar role.

Strong understanding of preventive maintenance strategies and corrective maintenance processes.

Excellent leadership and communication skills.

Ability to analyze and interpret data, and prepare reports.

Experience with project management and as-built documentation.

Strong commitment to safety and security guidelines.

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.

Additional certification or training in maintenance/support is a plus.
