Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Workover Supervisor to join our client's offshore operations in Oman. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing and executing workover activities, ensuring safety, efficiency, and adherence to project objectives. This is an exceptional opportunity to contribute to a dynamic offshore project in one of the most promising regions in the industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise workover operations on offshore platforms, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry best practices.
- Coordinate with rig crews, service contractors, and third-party vendors to execute workover plans effectively and efficiently.
- Utilize extensive fishing experience to troubleshoot and resolve downhole equipment issues, including stuck pipe, packer retrieval, and casing repairs.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to minimize operational risks and downtime.
- Provide technical guidance and support to rig crews and junior personnel, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment inventory, operational activities, and expenditure, ensuring compliance with reporting requirements.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Minimum 10 years of experience within a workover operations discipline.
- Valid Offshore certificates.
- Demonstrable offshore operation experience within the UAE.
- Notable fishing experience.
- Available at short notice.
