PIPECARE Groupof Companies - the leading provider of inline inspection services in Oil&Gas field - is looking for theChief Accountant (for Middle East)to join our Team.The position is responsible for reviewing and monitoring day-to-day accounting activities of PIPECARE and its Subsidiaries up to the issue of financial statements and will be reporting to the Finance Manager.Key Responsibilities & Authorities:Supporting Accounts Payables & other Accountant for reviewing the Financial Accounting functions to ensure the accuracy of accounts.Maintain accounting up to date and posting all the accounts transactionsMaintaining positive spirit with his team and supporting themEnsure all payments made are made according to company policy & proceduresProcesses and overseeing payroll operationsReviewing the Leave salary, gratuity, final settlementReviews all payments and approvalsReviewing the schedule related to assets additional/deletionReviews all accruals for expensesAllocation of tool capitalization costsAllocation of general costs to projectsProcesses insurance requirementsReviewing the bank guarantees, L/C's and other banks documents before sending to the bank.Prepare monthly Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cashflow, Statement of EquitySupporting the Regional Finance Manager for preparing the necessary documentation and reports for auditingPrepare monthly MIS packSupervise and mentor financial subordinatesWeekly meeting with the Regional Finance Manager to discuss any financial issuesTimely preparation of financial statements and completion of auditsMaintaining / reviewing periodically the financial policies/procedures and internal control system/procedures to make sure that his team considering that, and to raise the results report to the Regional Finance ManagerMonitor and review accounting and related system reports for accuracy and completenessAnalytical reviewing for the petty cash expenses and others cost and to raise the report to the Group Finance ManagerRandomly get physical inventory items verified with booksMonitoring the local Tax compliance and monthly report should be raised to the Regional Finance ManagerPerforms other duties as assigned by the Regional Finance Manager within the job roleSkills/Experience required:The successful Chief Accountant holds ACCA, CA, CPA or equivalent.Oil and Gas background is a plusIt is essential you have a minimum of 5 years industry experience outside the professionCapability to provide timely and accurate management reportingHave excellent Excel and modeling skills alongside experience in communicating with senior stakeholdersAccountability:Keep up-to-date entries in AccountsPayments, Collection, and invoicing HO controlValidation AP VouchersPayroll review (monthly from HR)Review of outgoing paymentsReview and Maintain other Legal Entity AccountsInventory Maintenance and ControlControl functions of regional Chief Accountants.Yearly audit
