Job DescriptionReporting to the Conference & Events Operations Manager, the key responsibilities of the Banquets Supervisor include:Being "Guest obsessed" while providing support and presence on the front of house areas to ensure the smooth operation of the Department & quality service is providedProviding leadership and guidance to your F&B colleagues, ensuring our F&B service standards are observed providing a consistently high level of service to all guestsSet up and pack down of events/conference rooms and coordination on the dayFamiliarizing yourself with VIP and regular clients to ensure their requests and needs are metMaintain hygienic food service techniques during service and promote a safe workplace by recognizing hazards and promoting general OHS practicesA 'hands on' approach is required as is to work as part of a team to provide efficient serviceWhat we are looking for:Previous experience in a Food & Beverage role within the Conference & Events area desiredPassionate about Food & Beverage and event serviceExperience in training and motivating employeesFriendly, outgoing personality and a high standard of personal presentation and self-awarenessQualificationsSpecific Requirements:Flexibility to work various shifts including week-ends, nights and public holidaysExcellent communication skillsBeing a true hospitality professional dedicated to providing customer service excellenceAdditional InformationWhat is in it for you:Employee benefit card offering discounted rates in Accor worldwide.Learning programs through our AcademiesOpportunity to develop your talent and grow within your property and across the world!
