We are seeking a highly skilled Marine Structural Engineer to join our team on a freelance basis. As a Marine Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for providing expert consultation and engineering solutions for a variety of marine-related projects. ResponsibilitiesConducting thorough structural analysis and design for marine structures including offshore platforms, ports, harbors, piers, jetties, and marine vessels.Developing detailed engineering plans, drawings, and specifications in compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.Performing feasibility studies and risk assessments for marine construction projects.Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams including architects, naval architects, and project managers to ensure successful project delivery.Conducting site inspections, assessments, and providing technical support during construction phases.Utilizing advanced software tools and computational methods for structural analysis and design optimization.Providing expert advice and recommendations to clients on structural integrity, maintenance, and repair of marine infrastructureQualificationsPostgraduate degree in Structural Engineering or Marine Structure.Minimum 15 years of experience in marine structural engineering.Proficiency in structural analysis software such as STAAD.Pro, SAP2000, or similar.Strong understanding of relevant industry codes and standards (e.g., API, AISC, ASCE, DNV).Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
