In January 2023, funds advised by global private equity firm Permira acquired a majority stake in the business from Equistone, which remains invested as a minority shareholder.For more information, visit www.acuitykp.comBasic InformationPosition Title - Process Leader IFRSExperience Level - 7 to 9 yearsDepartment - FinanceLocation - GurgaonPosition reports to - Director, FinanceJob PurposeAssist in financial reporting and accounting for the holding, and stand alone legal entities for the Group and take lead on the group audit function of the Group.Key ResponsibilitiesResponsible to perform accounting functions as per IFRS, UK GAAP, and local GAAP for the group and holding entities.Responsible for implementing process and procedures to ensure compliance with IFRS, UK GAAP and local GAAP and company policies and control framework. Providing Financial Reports, and compliance with regulations and organization policies.Responsible to work closely with all key stakeholders to ensure monthly closing of books, as per close calendar. Responsible to provide guidance to business team and other key stakeholder on accounting requirements and business transactions.Responsible for completing the legal entity, consolidated statutory audit and other financial statutory compliances for the legal entities.This position will be responsible to ensure the effectiveness of controls, and ensure financial compliance, which is a very critical requirement.Responsible to apply understanding of accounting practices and procedures and provide directions to team members on evaluating technical accounting pronouncements.Responsible to driving process optimization and improving the efficiency of finance operations.Any other task as assigned by the management team Key CompetenciesCA\ICAEW\ACCA with 8-9 years post qualification work experience with specific focus on IFRS, and UK GAAP from big 4 or a MNC working on financial reporting.Experience of leading and managing audits,Good Communication and Inter-personal Skills as person will be interacting with multiple geographies at different time zones,Negotiation and Conflict Management Skills,Good analytical skills and conceptual thinking,Ability to work individually and as a member of a global team,Acquires/demonstrates business maturity,Coaching and mentoring SkillsHighly motivated, with willingness to take ownership, and prepared to excel in an intense, high-pressure work environment.
