We have offices in the United States, the Middle East, Singapore, Taiwan, Ireland, and several other locations.Roles & responsibilities: Orbit & Skyline is looking forward to onboarding a highly skilled "Electronics Engineer" with an understanding of various electronic components & equipments and able to understand and work on schematics/system interconnects. The candidate will be part of a team assisting in the delivery of efficient engineering support and solutions to customers while also contributing to the development of Indian semiconductor ecosystem.Electrical/Electro-mechanical parts obsolescence and part lifecycle management• Work on electronics components obsolescence to qualify form, fit and functional replacements and release in system along with the documentation.• End to end ownership: Work collaboratively with the cross-functional team comprising mechanical, software, system, and process engineering (in different geographies) to develop and qualify engineering solutions.• Participate in design reviews to present the design throughout the different phases of design and development.• Perform FMEA and provide mitigation strategies to eliminate risks. Eligibility Criteria: Required Qualifications:Required Qualifications:• M.Tech in Electrical/Electronic with experience of 0-1 years OR B. Tech in Electrical/Electronic with experience 1-2yr• Must be comfortable working with US-based timings.Mandatory Skills:• Understanding of various electronic components & equipments• Able to understand and work on schematics/system interconnects.• Able to select and recommend components depending upon application and circuit requirements.• Excellent communication and presentation skills.• Critical/ system level thinking.• Must have strong problem solving and analytical skills.Good to have:• Understanding on electronic component obsolescence & component validation/qualification• Understanding on part lifecycle management, change orders/engineering change requests using any PLM system.• Familiar with communication/IP protocols, bus architecture, and I/O interface.• Hands on experience of AUTOCAD/Zuken/PCAD software.• Hands on experience of testing electronics component- bench level test and system level test.
