If this appeals to you, please read on!Job Title: Systems Engineer, Staff/Sr. StaffLocation: Coimbatore or BangaloreResponsibilitiesDevelop system specifications and support optimizing system architecture to meet performance specs. Design robust electrical power and electronic control modules.Specify components and review design upgrades and solutions with the remote engineering team regularly. Guide peer engineers, technicians, and product support team in troubleshooting electrical system issues.Review and approve new design specs, schematics, interconnect diagrams, and ECO releases.Help drive product transition from C&F and prototype build to manufacturing release. Work effectively with remote engineers and technical managers to support design reviews, system integration, and testing. Requirements & SkillsBachelor's degree in electrical or electronics engineering is required. A Master's degree in power, instrumentation, or control systems from a reputed university is a plus.10+ years of relevant industrial or National Labs experience is required.Expert design knowledge of AC/DC power distribution systems, industrial electronics architecture, and I/O controllers. Experience with the design of safety interlocks is a plus.Hands-on experience with the design, programming, and troubleshooting of PLC-based motion, vacuum, and thermal control systems. Knowledge of UL and IEC/NFPA standards applicable to electrical system design. Familiarity with NRTL, CE, and SEMI Regulatory Compliance requirements. Good understanding of Machinery Functional Safety requirements.Good written, and verbal communication in English. Ability to articulate technical solutions and conduct design reviews.Effective cross-functional interfacing skills with software, mechanical, electrical, service, and manufacturing engineers and project managers.The ability to collaborate with suppliers and subcontractors for critical systems development is a plus. Strong hands-on experience with AutoCAD and SolidWorks is desirable. Ownership and sense of urgency in accomplishing goals on time for critical projects.Organized and confident in executing projects with limited supervision.
