Your Impact: As a Footwear Developer at Agilitas, your role transcends crafting shoes; you're sculpting the foundation for dynamic movement. Your responsibilities will include: Game-Changing Product Development: Drive the creation of sports footwear that becomes a game-changer, ensuring designs align with the needs of athletes and the Agilitas brand.Strategic Playmaking: Collaborate on design tech packages, executing plays that ensure premium performance, fit, durability and style. Championing Quality Standards: Generate and maintain accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs), emphasizing materials, pricing, and manufacturing processes that uphold the premium quality of our footwear.Innovative Problem Solving: Proactively identify challenges and present alternative solutions in constructions, materials, costing, and duties, ensuring Agilitas stays well ahead of the competition. Technical Excellence: Review technical drawings, lab test results, patterns, components, and lasts to ensure best-in-class performance. Game-Time Execution: Plan and execute development projects, ensuring timely delivery of technical information and approval of production confirmation samples for a seamless transition into commercialization.Fit & Wear Mastery: Manage the diagnosis of potential fit, durability and performance issues early in the development process ensuring successful commercialization and mass production that aligns with the demands of sports enthusiasts.Global Team Play: Travel to development factories and sports events as necessary, collaborating with internal teams and external partners to ensure Agilitas maintains a winning streak. We'd love to hear from people with:Education: Bachelor's Degree in engineering, materials science, or other technical field.Proven experience: 5- 8 years' experience in the footwear industry, preferably in development, engineering, commercialization, or production. Technical Knowledge: understanding of footwear manufacturing processes, familiarity with reading and editing 2D designs and 3D models, knowledge of the mechanical properties of upper and bottom materials, and an aptitude for costing.Materials Expertise: Deep understanding of upper materials, rubber, foam, and associated construction techniques. Passion for Sport and for Serving the Consumer: Deep interest in understanding and serving a range of people, from the professional athlete to the style-conscious consumer.
