Provides HVAC engineeringknowledge, design, quality assurance and leadership to drive theexecution of engineering deliverables in accordance with projectspecifications and to the executionschedule.Leads the preparation and stewardshipof engineering, construction and commissioning scope of work in EPCcontract.Supports EPC contractor counterparts,to provide clarity and direction to complete quality deliverableson time.Communicates HVAC performance throughmonthly engineering surveillance reports with the appropriatemetrics and KPIs.Provides leadership to drivedecisions for HVAC issues to progress the execution of the project.Drives alignment and decision making between stakeholdergroups.Maintains close liaison with members ofEngineering Team and alignment with the Engineering Manager/ Civil& Structure Head on project engineering needs, objectives,and requirements.Manages EPCContractor's HVAC activities including usage of appropriatedesign tools, including computer hardware and software; adherencewith all project objectives, requirements, specifications,standards, procedures, execution plans and design verificationprocesses.Understand interdisciplinarydependencies to be able to make judgements on overall technicaldecisions having multi-disciplineimpacts.Applies risk management techniques tofacilitate decision making. Communicates key technical issues andrisks to management to facilitate decisionmaking.Manages the review of detailed HVACdeliverables in support of fabrication, construction andcommissioning activities, working closely with area managers todeliver to project milestones.Clearunderstanding of change management process and leads team todocument and justify and manage risks associated with designchange.Develop, review, and amend variouspolicies and procedures to ensure that all HVAC engineeringreferences are up to date andrelevant.
