The role will lead and develop data science within theDigital Program Group of our client with close interactions withthe Information Systems Data amp; Information group and the varioustechnical departments.Ideal candidates for thisrole will have:Oil amp; Gasexperience and knowledgeExperience of dataexploration and uncovering data requirements (as opposed to waitingfor data to be provided)Experience of guidingvendors to implement digitalsolutionsExperience of training models aftergo live and pushing operational insights back into livesystemsCoding expertise preferably inPythonKeyResponsibilitiesPrimaryDutiesTo participate in thedevelopment of data science strategy and tactics to support ourclients strategic objectives to become a datadrivencompanyTo promote data science amp; analyticsto increase business insights to resolve technical issues orsupport decisionmaking processesTo contributeand propose ways to maximize the value of Geosciences OperationsHSE etc. dataTo manage relationships withinternal and external vendors for datascienceKeyactivitiesEnvisioning andConceptualizationDevelopmentRolloutEnhancementsProfessionalQualifications amp; ExperienceMasterof Science degree preferred.
