Prioritizinginnovation and sustainability it boasts stateoftheart researchcenters and a staunch commitment to environmental responsibility.As a testament to its excellence and influence the firm activelyfosters strategic global partnerships continuously settingbenchmarks in quality and industry standards.Job SummaryStaff/Chief Scientist Methane Reforming Technologist isexpected to Initiate Propose and Execute research and developmentDebottlenecking/Revamp Energy saving Sustainability improvementprograms directed towards the improvement of processes andcommercial technologies. Lead inhouse new process technologydevelopment scale up & implementations in commercial plants.Provide technology support to commercial plants for the shutdownturnover and recommissioning as needed. Provide troubleshooting& Root cause analysis support and drive problem resolution forcommercial plants. The Methane Reforming technologist is requiredinitially to support in Growth Projects and be aware of thedifferences of available licensing technology from main licensorsthe differences between licensors leading to the selection of thebest technology. KeyResponsibilities: Provide directions and lead methane reforming technologyselection for Blue Ammonia development and technology configurationof the process. Be aware of Decarbonizationsolutions in the industry and link them to the technology selectionexercise. Provide troubleshooting and rootcause analysis support and drive problem resolution for commercialplants. Develop a Plantwide Model in AspenPlus or similar software and guide plant improvements andperformance enhancements. Carry out energy andmass balance calculations energy optimization and pinch studiespump hydraulics calculations heat exchanger design and calculationsand evaluate various catalyst performances. Conduct feasibilitystudies and revamp studies. Independentlyreview engineering documents and steer technology selection andtechnology improvements. Provide technologysupport to commercial plants for shutdown turnover andrecommissioning as needed. Collaborate withexternal companies startups and universities and lead projectstoward implementation in the plant. Provideinsights directions and support to product development within thegroup. Actively contribute to the safetyculture coach young employees and initiate new programs.Requirements: This rolerequired candidate to permanently relocate at Jubail SaudiArabia. Preferredqualifications include a Masters or PhD degree.Possess 15 years of experience in dealing with newproduct development with a preference for experience incollaboration or previous interactions with startups.Demonstrate strategic thinking and planningabilities. Exhibit leadership skills to workwith and influence highly talented individuals from diversedisciplines and cultures.
