Coordination across multiple development sites may be requiredDevelop and establish strong processes that streamline the development cycle and help integrate multiple plans, dependencies and deliverables effectivelyHaving a moderate amount of influence over key organizational decisions (e.g., is consulted by senior leadership to provide input on key decisions). Making decisions that are moderate in impact, may require strong negotiation and influenceUsing verbal and written communication skills to convey complex and/or detailed information to multiple individuals/audiences with differing knowledge levels, communication to large groups or high-level constituentsCompleting tasks that do not have defined steps; simultaneous use of multiple mental abilities is generally required to determine the best approach; mistakes may result in significant rework.Working independently with little supervision.Skills & Experience: Experience and domain knowledge of Wireless/Semiconductors is a must14-16 years (max) of experience in a combination of Software product development and program management in semiconductor/wireless industryExperience with end to end product integration and managing software products through entire development life cycleKnowledge of program management methodology (e.g., planning, scheduling, tracking, execution). This includesThe ability to effectively use program management tools to carry out the program management functionThe ability to be organized, resourceful, and planful. This includes the ability to leverage multiple resources to get things done and lay out tasks in sufficient detail. This also includes the ability to get things done with fewer resources and in less time, work on multiple tasks at once without losing track, and foresee and plan around obstaclesThe ability to make quick, accurate decisions.
