Coordinator, Administration (Manager's Office Laboratory)Department Clinical Laboratory Entity Aga Khan University Hospital LocationIntroduction The Aga Khan University Hospital Clinical Laboratories are the first and only in Pakistan to be accredited by the College of American Pathologists (CAP), which is considered as a gold standard in laboratory testing in the world. We are one of the largest lab networks in the world that is CAP accredited, and with our team of highly qualified faculty, phlebotomists and technologists, we ensure to deliver fast and accurate results for routine and specialized testing, that are accepted by the doctors nationwide and globally. Our laboratory network is present in more than 290 locations spread over 125 cities in Pakistan and our value-added services include mobile app service, stat reports, SMS alert, home lab sample collection (blood, urine, stool and other samples are collected from home), e-reports, real-time critical result reporting, multi-column reports and much more. Responsibilities Specifically, you will be responsible to: • Coordinate the technical and administrative activities of different collection points to ensure proper collection and transportation of specimen to the main laboratory according to the protocols • Ensure timely delivery of patient reports to collection points by checking the report delivery schedule  • Supervise transporter round, coolers arrival and timely departure of cooler to collection points • Coordinate the administrative activities with stakeholders • Handle lab test queries, incident reporting and complaints of patients/physicians with stipulated timelines • Supervise inventory management of collection points • Manage staff duties, leaves, overtime, and benefits of respective staff along with their files and appraisals • Visit collection points to ensure compliance with regular responsibilities of collection point staff  • Ensure training and development of staff Requirements You should have/be: •Master's in business administration or equivalent qualification or bachelor's degree  •03-04 years of experience at any section of clinical laboratories within AKUH or 06-08 years of relevant experience in major health care institutions preferred •Familiarity and experience in health care quality management •Strategic thinker and motivator who works in harmony with multiple stakeholders •True people's person capable of interacting with a diverse group of the people •Ability to realize business opportunities in conformity to business strategy •An exceptionally bright and articulate communicator with strong negotiation and interpersonal skills To Apply You should send your detailed CV to  human.resources@aku.edu  and mention "Coordinator, Administration" in the subject line.
