Job DescriptionJOB TITLE: Rigging Foreman(Offshore).NO OF POSITIONS: 15.NATIONALITY: Indian. Limited by Visaquota.AGE LIMIT: Not more than 45 Years.ABOUT COMPANY: Large Oil& Gas company (Qatar).SALARY PACKAGE: 103 USD (375 QAR) perday.WORKING HOURS: 12 Hours per Day (7 Days per Week).ROTATION:28/28 (No salary during Off-Rotation period).ESSENTIALEXPERIENCE:• Minimum 3 to 5 years of Offshore Platformexperience.• Minimum 6 years of experience working withrigging and lifting tasks preferably from the Oil and Gasindustry.• GCC Experience is mandatory.• Goodknowledge of written and spoken English.• Competent in thepreparation of Lifting Plans.• Proficiency in MicrosoftPowerPoint, Word and Excel.ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:•Higher Secondary school or a Diploma graduate.• Must haveOPITO T-BOSIET, H2S, OPITO RIGGER STAGE 1 or 3.DESIRABLEQUALIFICATIONS:• OPITO Lift Planning Training or ECITBAppointed Person Moving Loads• OPITO LOLER CompetentPerson.JOB DESCRIPTION:Main Role• To assist CampaignSupervisor in all aspects of managing and planning day to dayRigger/lifting activities on site as required for maintenance andCampaign works in line with approved procedures andguidelines.Planning and Direction• Liaise with CampaignSupervisor in planning, preparing and scheduling maintenance andCampaign activities ensuring the required level of equipmentintegrity reliability and safety.• Implement operationalpriorities, targets and plans in line with policies, guidelines andoperating procedures.• Identify opportunities andinitiatives that enables maximum production output within theparameters of environmental compliance and processsafety.• Provide Campaign Supervisor with regular reportson performance and results, and to be held accountable for his areaof responsibility.Operational• Plan and execute day-to-dayand future Rigging/Lifting tasks for maintenance and Campaign workon site in line with approved procedures and guidelines.•Create Lifting and Rigging plans in accordance withcompany/international standards.• Ensure availabilityaccording to colour code standards the right equipment andconsumables for ongoing and future activities.• Completejob related risk assessments prior to start of tasks Complete jobrelated Rigging/Lifting plans prior to start of tasks.•Assist Campaign Supervisors with hours and material estimation forongoing and future activities.• Maintain a daily record ofprogress (daily diary) noting special comments and loggingman-hours for relevant work.• Ensure that all tools,materials and equipment are maintained and kept in goodcondition.• Participate in the planning and supervisingthe execution of shutdown tasks for this discipline.•Obtain, renew and complete work permits, and distribute them to theindividual work teams.• Regularly updates the masterlayout platform plan in CCR with current tasksPeopleManagement• Provide leadership and guidance to directreports in the execution of their responsibilities; encourageinnovative thinking around process safety and productionoptimization.• Ensure all direct reports have the righttraining and competencies to carry out their duties in line withTraining Matrix; help create a leaning environment.•Undertake regular on-the-job training to ensure transfer ofknowledge.• Uphold and role-model company values andleadership behaviours.Other• Undertake daily communicationand coordination with offshore functions pertaining to key businessmatters within area of work.• Proactively takeresponsibility for self-progression by keeping abreast with latestdevelopments, knowledge and innovations in relevant field ofexpertise.SKILLS TESTING: English language to a level thatsatisfies the standards of the Safety English Test (SET).Trade/Skills Test prior to mobilisation
