The Position We are looking for a Senior Software Developer to work out of the Contour Software Lahore resource center office, as an extension of the division-based R&D department. Responsibilities: Review business requirements and participate in technical designs. Review technical requirements and participate in story creation and estimates. Provide input and guidance on technologies/designs/patterns. Develop solutions per business requirements, technical designs, and best practices. Create solution documentation as needed. Work with Quality Assurance (QA) to ensure proper knowledge transfer, deployment, and setup. Desired Skills: Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Engineering or equivalent technical Degree; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 6+ years of experience of developing enterprise applications with Java and Spring Boot framework. Strong understanding and experience of working with Agile/Scrum development process. Strong understanding and experience of Object-Oriented programming and best practices. Knowledge of Groovy Scripting. Strong understanding of architecture and design patterns Strong experience of working with Postgres. Excellent Problem-Solving skills. Good debugging and trouble shooting skills.
