The Company Our client is a leading Events and Entertainment company. They are seeking to hire a Senior Management Accountant to join their finance team. The Role Reporting to the Financial Controller you will be responsible for the finance and accounting of the company. These include overseeing sales reconciliation, ensuring timely payment processing, and submitting monthly, quarterly, and yearly closing reports. You would also be responsible for reviewing GST returns and preparing local income tax filings. In addition, you will review daily reconciliations of accounts receivable, ensure adherence to company policies when reconciling accounts payable and general ledger sub-ledgers, and review balance sheet schedules. This role includes verifying that proper explanatory notes are included. Finally, you will ensure contracted payments and advances comply with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) regulations. Your Profile To excel in this role, you'll have a Diploma or a Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or ACCA with the following related experiences:
- At least 8 years of experience in accounting managing the full spectrum of finance.
- With good working experience in fast-paced environments in similar industries.
- Experience with managing or mentoring a team will be highly preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
