We are seeking a Technical Solution Consultant to join our global Pre-Sales team supporting the APAC and ANZ regions. Reporting to the Director of Solution Consulting, this role is pivotal in delivering presentations and product demonstrations for our Library Software products. By closely collaborating with Management, Product, Marketing, and Sales teams, you will help drive our pre-sales efforts forward. This opportunity is ideal for someone passionate about delivering the value of our innovative products to a diverse range of customers and prospects. Your specialized consulting activities will not only help secure new business and market share but also enhance customer satisfaction. About You – Experience, Education, Skills, and Accomplishments:
- 1-2 years of experience in pre-sales/sales engineering/solution consulting positions.
- Experience working within the library industry.
- Proficiency in confident presentation and public speaking.
- Experience in library marketing.
- Basic knowledge of SQL reporting tools or API skills.
- Experience in library events management.
- Webmaster experience or proficiency in website maintenance.
- Knowledge of cloud hosting, SSO, SAML, and general SaaS solutions.
- Identifying and uncovering prospect and customer business needs and pain points.
- Developing and delivering targeted sales presentations for customers or new prospects.
- Collaborating closely with Sales colleagues to strategize around sales opportunities.
- Working cross-functionally with internal teams such as Product, Sales, and Marketing.
- Scheduling, promoting, and delivering business presentations to library professionals and end-users across Asia Pacific, Australia, and New Zealand.
- Delivering live onsite or web-based business presentations via platforms like Teams and Zoom.
- Scripting and recording online product demos.
- Attend customer user group meetings, sales meetings, and occasional industry conferences.
