Your new role, what's involved?• Provide technical expertise and oversight throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring adherence to required technical standards and specifications. • Collaborate with project teams to develop client proposals, including bid planning, costing, and producing technical proposals. • Manage project profitability and financial contribution, ensuring projects meet financial targets and deliver value to the company. • Be accountable for the overall success of allocated projects, including managing timeliness, contract negotiation, project management, quality control, financial performance, risk management, communication, and scope management. • Actively contribute to the ongoing development of engineering excellence within the team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation. • Ensure excellent technical standards are maintained in the design, documentation, and supervision of project work, with a focus on structural integrity and safety. • Take responsibility for building and maintaining strong business relationships both internally and externally, fostering collaboration and trust. • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, develop innovative solutions, and strive to enhance the quality and efficiency of our services. • Lead and develop technical capability within the team, providing mentorship, guidance, and support to foster professional growth and expertise. We'd love to hear from you if you have: • Bachelor s degree in structural or civil engineering field; Master's degree is preferred. • Chartered Engineer status or equivalent certification, Professional Engineering (PE) license or Structural Engineering (SE) license is preferred. • Minimum 20 years of experience in structural design and engineering. • Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering complex projects on time and within budget. • Strong technical expertise in structural analysis, design, and documentation. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and clients. • Strategic thinking and business acumen, with the ability to identify and pursue new opportunities for growth and innovation. • Leadership qualities, including the ability to inspire and motivate team members, foster a culture of excellence, and drive results.
