NoteAustralian & New Zealand citizens who have an interest in pursuing employment opportunities in Saudi Arabia are strongly encouraged to submit their applicationsPosition DescriptionWe are currently looking for a Production Engineering Specialist to join our client's Well Completion Operation & Production Engineering Department.Minimum RequirementsAs the successful candidate, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in petroleum engineering from a recognized and approved program. You must have a minimum of 15 years of experience in production engineering and production optimization, including at least 10 years in unconventional production engineering and optimization. The Candidate Holds A 4 Year Bachelor's Degree In Engineering (Note That 3 Year Degrees Are Not Acceptable)Other requirements include:Strong expertise in unconventional behaviors, well performance analysis, and fluid dynamics.Proficiency in simulation software and modeling using material balance, Nodal Analysis, and surface Network Software (Prosper-GAP- Pipesim, OLGA; or similar software).Experience in unconventional resources or HPHT/tight gas & oil wells with a comprehensive understanding of hydraulic fracturing, especially its impact on flowback/production practices.Working knowledge in production assurance and optimization of natural flowing oil and gas wells.Ability to contribute to the development and implementation of flow assurance techniques, programs, and operational procedures.Knowledge of industry regulations, safety practices, and environmental standards.Duties & ResponsibilitiesLeading production optimization solutions for existing producing wells and future development areas.Ensuring well and field production performance, integrated production system modeling using material balance, Nodal Analysis, and surface Network Software (Prosper-GAP- Mbal; or similar software).Conducting routine well and reservoir surveillance, problem well diagnostics, and implementing downhole remediation practices while preparing field operational procedures.Ensuring adequate well start-up and shut-down procedures for gas and gas and oil wells.Monitoring daily production and conducting well surveillance.Deep understanding of well loading issues, well deliquification practices, and production best practices.Planning and programming field/well opportunities, surveillance plans, and providing support to business plans.Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define and update the field completion/stimulation strategy.
