Description SummaryWe are currently seeking experienced Wireless Crew Supervisors to join a variety of our Telecommunications offices across Australia's nationwide offices.About the RoleService Stream's Telecommunications division are currently seeking a Construction Crew Manager to join our growing company.Our offer to you:Company Vehicle suppliedNature of position: Permanent, Full TimeLocation: Melbourne, VIC / Sydney, NSW/ Brisbane QLDReporting Line: Construction ManagerKey responsibilitiesUphold the Business Charter and be seen to demonstrate the behaviours and the conduct within the CharterLead by example and demonstrate the Service Stream values in everything we do.Complete all works safely and in line with company and legislative HSE requirementsAssist in the recruitment of field team members from a variety of recruitment strategiesAssist in setting up the field teams into cohesive units with adequate and appropriate tools, test equipment, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and vehicles to enable efficient work deliveryAssist in arranging onboarding and training as required for field team membersEnsure all field team members staff are compliant according to the requirements of the Training Needs Analysis (TNA)Manage ongoing training and refresher requirements to ensure the safe operations of the internal build teams, that they remain compliant and appropriately skilled / competent to be optimal for the works they carry out in their daily operationsPlan, schedule, and co-ordinate the works to ensure teams are efficient and completing works in a profitable mannerHire of equipment required to carry out works to ensure the works are completed on time and on budget.Manage the project budgets, provide reporting on key financial and progress metricsLiaise with Project Managers and Project Engineers on regular progress updates and upcoming schedulesMonitor and govern effective performance of the build crews with focus on HSE, Quality, Delivery, Financial outcome.Review and provide efficiencies across worksProvide a financial outcome on sites that is 10% EBITDA greater than what would be experienced by using external constructorsProvide ongoing feedback into the delivery team on improvement initiatives that will enable EBITDA / Safety / -Efficiency improvementsProvide guidance and direction in dealing with complex discipline specific issues across the businessAssist project teams in the establishment and placement of resources for new project requirements as and when they ariseProvide training to team via workshops, bulletins, formal educationPerformance management of employeesComplete individual team member PDRParticipate in HSE investigationsExperience requiredDemonstrated major project experience, minimum 6 years' experience in a similar role, leading a team, managing budgets, costs, consultants, and clientsSignificate experience in managing Wireless telecommunication rollout projects end to endStrong technical and project deployment rollout including SMR and construction work, GF Civil work, ICIO and Microwave Transmission workVery strong understanding of Quality Assurance, quality management processes and continual improvementSolid working knowledge of Occupation Health and Safety.Material Management including FIM & BOM, warehousing, consumablesBest practise site deployment methodologiesExcellent client management SkillsCommercial Acumen and problem-solving skillsRigging ticket and min 5 years' experience in the field (preferred)Degree qualifications in Engineering or Project Management (preferred)In return for your commitment, we will support you to achieve your personal best, enrich your career and work as a team to create positive legacies you can all be proud of.
