The Role

The laboratory based in Newcastle has a Casual day shift position for an experienced Lab Technician to join our team. ALS offers exciting career opportunities in a successful, growing Australian-owned company with genuine global coverage.

The successful applicants will receive training and support in the technical components and procedures of the role and a wide variety of laboratory processes associated with working in a modern laboratory.

To be successful in this role you'll have:

Tertiary qualifications or demonstrated work experience in a similar discipline (including TAFE certificates and diplomas)Worked in a similar production laboratory environment.A positive work attitude, a willingness to learn new skills and be a great team player.Confident communication skillsStrong organisational and time management skills and ability to reorganise priorities quickly.Diligence in dealing with data and details and intermediate knowledge of MS applications.The Benefits
