Experienced Mechanical Maintenance Technician Fitters, Turners & Machinists (Trades & Services)

QPTS is seeking experienced mechanical maintenance technician to join our supportive and growing team at our Perth location, with opportunities to undertake work at our Western Australian locations. It is a full time and permanent position.

QPTS is seeking Experienced Mechanical Maintenance Technician  to join our supportive and growing team at our Western Australia location.

Duties and tasks Maintaining and repairing conveyor belt system's associated components including but not limited to; roller's and frames, skirting systems, belt cleaning systems, belt tracking units, transfer chutes, and conveyor structures Cleaning and adjusting primary and secondary cleaners, ploughs, and water control units Completing conveyor safety and operational inspections Adhere and possess strong commitment to workplace health and safety Job requirements  Current Drivers Licence Confined Spaces ticket Working at Heights ticket Gas Test Atmospheres ticket Dogging/Rigging experience (Highly regarded but not essential) Hold a relevant Trade Certificate or evidence of training. Have a minimum of 3 years' work experience in the field. Work in and adhere to all OH&S Procedures and Policies as laid out by the company. Participate in safety training and meetings to ensure the workplace is always safe. Have experience in working with Quality Management Systems.
